How nice, winter is back; Depression for all and an ideal environment for someone like Daif who carves his songs out of a critical sadness with his trusty low-budget electric axe. His glasses keep fogging up and the computer is continually crashing as an antisocial breeze runs through the -27° garrison town of Frauenfeld. But as long as a hard drive backup is undertaken every other hour there is no sign of resignation.

After years of frequenting in the golden precariat as cloudrapper, hacker and journalist (of the hour – if he may add) it is probably fair to say that he has established his very own niche at the cantonal office for culture. Daif yells out songs in dialect, produces prosecco adverts, choreographs Eurodances, is an absolute CAPSLOCK SUPERSTAR, makes art in general, sleeps by day, glitches by night and wrote the first user manual for Instagram before it was invented – btw Daif may stay clean until January 21, let’s see. He does not even drink coffee anymore so ...
